Lal Bahadur Shastri: Lal Bahadur Shastri, who shares his birth date,with another great leader of India, Mahatma Gandhi, was the 2nd Prime Minister of India. Successor to Pandit Nehru, this leader of small stature achieved great things throughout his life, be it the freedom movement or his political career.
An inspiring story of this 'little' person, who never aspired for power and authority, but it came to him automatically, is narrated with wonderful illustrations and excellent dialogues. Shastri, who coined the slogan 'Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan' during the Indo-Pak war of 1965, was awarded the 'Bharat Ratna', the highest civilian award of India, posthumously.
