Shrimant Bajirao Peshwa, a prime minister in the Maratha Empire, was the only Maratha warrior to wobble the throne of Delhi. Appointed as a Peshwa at 19, Bajirao extended the Maratha rule beyond Maharashtra with his strategic planning and great valor within a short span of twenty years when he died at 40.
